CROATIA AWARDED “TOURIST OSCARS”
Great news for Croatia and Croatian tourism comes from last night’s ceremony of the seventh edition of the prestigious American Travvy Awards, which took place at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The Croatian National Tourist Board won a silver award in the category of the best European tourist organization, while Croatia won a bronze medal in the category of the best destination in the Mediterranean! This is a Golden Shine Award, popularly and often referred to as the Tourism Oscar.
The annual Travvy Awards are given by Northstar Travel Media, LLC to highlight the best examples of excellence and achievement in the tourism industry, and are given to various stakeholders such as national tourism organizations, destinations, travel agents, products, etc. This year’s awards are awarded on the basis of more than 130 thousand votes.
